Dave Reynolds – Lead Pastor, Chorus Church
Dave graduated from Cal State, Long Beach with a B.A. in Music and an M.Div. from Biola University. He’s been playing in bands since High School and enjoys using music to move people.
After hearing the call to full-time ministry in the late 80s Dave went on to plant ShoreLife Church in Huntington Beach, launch Northwest Church Planting out of New Heights Church in Vancouver, Wa., and is currently the Lead Planter/Pastor of Chorus Church & Southwest Church Planting here in Murrieta, Ca.

Eric Beeman – Associate Pastor, Chorus Church
Eric earned his degree in Sociology from SDSU, his Teaching Credential from CHC and spent 6 years in the public school system. Since beginning full-time ministry in the late 90s he’s gained experience in Youth Ministry (Horizon, SD), College Ministry (Sonrise, Santee) and Church Planting (Life Church, Temecula). He has over 10 years of Worship Leading experience.
Currently Eric is the Associate Pastor at Chorus Church in Winchester, Ca.. His passion to “see people get it” has lead him to seek new and innovative ways to bridge the gap between heaven and earth. He’s been married to Staci Beeman, an accomplished choreographer for over 10 years. The Beemans have three beautiful boys; Joshua, Micah and Asher! Rich Kirkpatrick – Worship Director, Venture Church
Rich is a coffee fanatic, social media addict and wannabe techie geek as well as a vocational musician. A native of the Silicon Valley area, Rich moved his family of creatives to the area in 2007. He is married to his best friend Tammy, an educator and has two kids—a daughter 17, son 12. Even the family dog named Copper shares the creative spirit of the Kirkpatrick tribe. Rich has served in worship and ministry since college and has grown a readership of creatives and influencers who interact with his blog about faith, culture and ministry leadership. He loves leading worship and desires to see the family of Venture enthusiastically celebrate God’s grace together each weekend.
Mike Mathis – Bass & Drums Specialist
Mike Mathis is set to lead the Rhythm & Groove Workshops this year. Mike and Eric met in 2002 as part of Church Plant in Temecula, Ca. Even back then they had a passion for helping people grow in their knowledge and understanding of worship through Schools of Worship. Not only is Mike a passionate teacher, but his smooth, laid-back, butter-like bass groove will melt your heart for sure. I’m hoping some of that juju rubbs off on our musicians this year!
Gwyn Sanborn – Owner, SoCal Voice Coach
Gwyn is a vocal coach, country singer, worship leader, mother and wife… all at the same time!!! She’s instrumental in making Country at The Merc, Temecula Live and Gospelfest happen every year. I’m not sure how she does it, but if you come to the School of Worship she might just tell you!
At the School of Worship she’ll be sharing on vocal technique, stage presence and authenticity.

Karl Verkade – Guitarist/Worship Leader/Effects Specialist
Karl is an accomplished musician and dedicated leader. His worshipful heart, incredible tone and knowledge of effects pedals make him a hot commodity in the Temecula Valley… not to mention his obsession with anything that has anything to do with U2.
He’s currently the Worship Pastor at Crosspoint Church. Karl is married to Jamieanne and has no plans to have kids. He’s dedicated to helping guitarists find that perfect tone. His blog “Guitar for Worship” gets plenty of traffic due to his dedication to helping guitarists find that perfect tone and his doting on The Edge from U2.
